We are the parents of a 4 month old girl and are not sure if it's a good thing for our baby to meet new people (family, friends) or if it is better for the baby not to meet new people at this age?

Also, as we are not a couple, is it ok for the father to take the baby for a walk on his own at this age or should this only be done with the mother's supervision?
